From the blurb of the blog Climate Research News, by global warming ‘skeptic’ Paul Biggs:

CRN is independently and entirely funded by the owner, Paul Biggs.

Well, here’s what the whois records say:

biggs-whois

Yes, my friends. That’s our domain owner.

As I’ve said elsewhere, whenever a climate ‘skeptic’ uses the word “independent”, the question to ask is,

Independent of whom?

It seems there are legal restrictions on the copying of whois data — alas, I’m not a lawyer, so I’ve decided to stay on the safe side.

The hyperlink goes to a cached copy of the whois query, by the way.

I’m curious, who told you this?

I have trouble swallowing it, given that there are sources that’ll sell you the info.

Well, there are warnings that appear with pretty much every whois query, including this one. (If they are scarecrow warnings, I’d definitely like to know…)

Hmm… still doesn’t look good to me. 😐
